FROM THE DESK OF
MICHELLE C. JACKSON
STATE DEPUTY OF LOUISIANA
Greetings My Sisters,
I would like to thank each of you for your continued support to the KPC, Ladies Auxiliary. Together we have achieved and accomplishment a lot but there is still much to be done.
Let’s not forget that we are a team working together for the same common goal. There is no “I” in the word team. In order to determine where your Court is going, you need to know exactly where you stand, then determine where you want to go and how you are going to get there. We need to remain committed to each other. Our aim should never be to defeat or humiliate each other but to lift each other up and the day will come that we won’t be a divided organization but we shall become one.
In the words of Dr. Martin Luther King: “Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred.” In other words we need to move beyond Ladies vs. Ladies, older members vs. younger members move from-I have been in this order longer than you. Let go of the conflict you have with your Sister. One person can do something, two can do more, but to make a real difference, a group powered by God and working together under his blessing will experience amazing productivity.
Whenever there is a storm we all come together and make it through by helping each other. Why can’t we do the same when the sun is shining? Life is like a hill and we need one another to reach the top. There are Ladies that can be very helpful if given a chance, utilize their talents.
Grand Ladies if I do not have an e-mail address for you please provide one; if not you a member from your Court, this process would ensure that you receive information in a timely manner.
A Special Thank You to the Courts, Area Deputies, Area Counselors and members who are working diligently to Recruit, Reclaim and Retain members.
As always if I can be of assistance at any time please feel free to contact me.
